This free monthly event is a collaboration between Stormchasers Digital and Dragon Coworking and it’s for anyone who has a WordPress website for their business.

Each month we will look at….

+ Publishing techniques and ideas
+ Performance, testing and troubleshooting your website
+ New WordPress functions to grow and manage your business
+ WordPress Q and A

At the first event on January 9th, we will be looking at

+ Free tools to reduce image sizes
+ Where to find free images for your website and blog posts
+ Plugins to book prospective clients
+SSL Certificates – do you need them and how much should they
REALLY cost you?

Bring your laptop because you can plug in and play. If you don’t have a laptop, don’t worry, we will be working on a big screen as well so you can join in.

Arrival, Parking and Transport

We get started properly at 6 pm but you can turn up anytime from 5 pm and enjoy a hot drink until we’re ready to go.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are included.

Parking is free (but can be limited) just though the main hotel entrance at New Road Avenue. If that is full there is paid parking in the streets around and opposite the hotel and a free overflow car-park to the rear of the hotel – but with a bit of a walk up steps to reach the hotel.

If you are parking at the Hotel itself, please make sure to register your car at reception.

If you are arriving by train, the hotel is a short walk from Chatham station and about 20-minutes walk from Rochester train station.

What Topics Won’t Be Covered?

We won’t be covering how to build a Website, beyond recommending developers or specialist website builders if you want to DIY.

If your site is having problems it will not be possible to do any repairs or work on specific issues for your website, hosting or software.

All responsibility for your website is with you as the owner or manager. Any information we give you or discuss must be taken in the context that this is a group event and not a bespoke consultation or WordPress website repair where we would be carrying out an extensive investigation, back-ups and fail-safe procedures to deal with any conflicts, errors and downtime.
